We are so happy to announce the birth of our son, Avi Michael. He was born at 8:27 PM on Friday, February 8, 2008. He was 8 pounds and 21 inches, with an impressive 9.9 Apgar score. We had a great experience spending most of our labor at home--perhaps a little too good, as we barely made it to the hospital in time for him to make his entrance into the world. All was, and is, well with our little one. We are settling in at home and loving every moment with Avi.
After a little more time passes, I would love to say more about his birth and all that we've experienced since then, but for now, I will just say that there's nothing more amazing than bringing a beautiful baby into the world . . .
